Central Laboratory of Batteries and Cells
is a state-owned research and development centre with many years experience in the field of chemical power sources ( founded in 1947). ain activities:

  • Research works and application studies on manufacturing, modernization and testing of primary batteries, rechargeable batteries and fuel cells. The scope of works includes new raw materials, electrode materials and semi-products as well as technology for the production of new battery types and recycling.

  • Technical expertise and patent research.

  • Training on chemical power sources.

  • Production of special batteries and rechargeable batteries.

  • Testing of all types of primary and rechargeable batteries in the accredited laboratory – electrical, climatic and mechanical tests.
  • Certification of all types of primary and rechargeable batteries in the accredited certification department.
